Kogelberg Nature Reserve

For all you hiking fanatics, Kogelberg Nature Reserve is a great place to go hiking with both one and two day hikes. Play Golf

Arabella, approximately 35km from Pringle bay, is one of the country's top golf courses. The hotel also hosts a magnificent spa and restaurant. Contact them on 028 284 0000.

Palmiet River

There is a great spot protected from the wins and great for kids to swim just below the bridge on the way to kleinmond,  Park on the left just after crossing the bridge and it is a short walk to picnic on the rock below. 

Sandboarding in Betty's Bay

You can get the required permits and hire the sand-boards at Jackazz (028 272 9080) n the Village centre just behind the BP filling station in Betty's Bay.  The dunes on the Hangklip mountain are excellent for this sport.

ROCK CLIMBING & BOULDERING

The peak just behind Kleinmond have some great sport climbing routes and bouldering.  Just a 20 min walk up from the parking at the Palmiet river..

Browse the local art / craft shops and markets

Take a morning to browse the craft and bric-a-brac shops stopping for coffee or lunch at one of the charming restaurants in Kleinmond's Harbour Road or one of the many in Betty's Bay main rd.

Further afield you should take a drive to Hermanus where High streeet has a host of art galleriries and shops such as Art Thirst www.artthirst.com
